P2P Foundation
From Satoshipedia, the Satoshi Mail encyclopedia
On 11 February 2009 Satoshi posted “Bitcoin open source implementation of P2P currency” on its forum, his most accessible early description of the problem Bitcoin solves: trust in central banks and financial institutions (the post). He sent the same text to the P2P Research mailing list (the email).
On his P2P Foundation profile Satoshi claimed to be a 37-year-old man living in Japan.[1] The same thread received the post “I am not Dorian Nakamoto” in March 2014 (Media investigations).
